The Chevrolet Corvette C8 is finally entering its second model year, and we are all excited about it. Interestingly, it will come with several tweaks ensuring that customers will be happy acquiring it. Among the upgrades are the new paint hues on its exterior and the availability of new color options for its racing stripe. It will flaunt its compatibility with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Meanwhile, the iconic Magnetic Ride Control will come as a stand-alone package for the first time. This means that if you want this particular add-on, you don’t need to get the entire Z51 Performance Package.
Harlan Charles, Corvette’s Product Manager, revealed last September that the popular Carbon Fiber Ground Effects and High Wing Spoiler would have a comeback in the 2021 model year of Corvette Stingray. Their return makes that second-generation C8 worth anticipating. We also discovered that the “Jake” hood decal of Corvette Racing would also be available for the 2021 Corvette C8.
You can have this logo on your C8 Corvette by acquiring the Center Hood Jake Graphics Package, which you can get at the Chevrolet Accessories store. It comes with an optional fee for dealer installation. This package also includes a subtle Corvette Racing text, a faint Jake logo, and a black stinger stripe for the vehicle’s hood. For finishing touches, it will come with a pair of “Stingray R” graphics for the vehicle’s body side.
Of course, this is not the most compelling Corvette accessory yet. However, it will make the American hero downright unique. After all, only a few automakers provide a graphic package that includes the official logo of their racing team. It is not expensive, too, as it is only priced at $495. Meanwhile, the 2021 C8 Corvette will have a starting price of $59,995.
