We can all agree that Corvette’s build is among the best that there is, especially if we are talking about the new generation models. Each of you has your “apple of the eye” when it comes to the Corvette Stingray.
Of course, we are not new when it comes to aftermarket customizations for this vehicle. There are some parts and aspects of our Corvettes that we want to tweak and upgrade. Arguably, the most common customizations for the C8 Corvette are its wheels. Well, that’s understandable considering that our preferences want something better than the stocks.
Throughout the years, Corvette enthusiasts have been asking to include a chrome option on the wheels. Even after the 2021 model year was announced, chrome wheels are still not included in the standard package. GM, however, gave a closer replica to this particular color: Sterling Silver. The automaker also included Carbon Flash and Spectra Gray in the selection. But again, there’s no chrome.
Despite the requests and clamors of people, it seems that GM won’t release chrome wheels anytime soon. The same thing is true with the manual transmission that many people missed.
Of course, this caused a little disappointment to a significant number of Corvette enthusiasts. While it is true that C8 Corvette is already premium even in its base form, little enhancements can make the difference.
If you want to customize your C8 Corvette and fit it with chrome wheels, I recommend that you check the MRR Wheels. The latter is an aftermarket community that specializes in wheel customization for more than 15 years. It has created first-class wheel options for Corvettes. One can say that previous creations for the C7 Corvettes are more stylish and aggressive than the stock colors.
MRR just announced that it has brand-new custom forged wheels for the C8 Corvette. Among the most head-turning ones are the M755 wheels. These dual-spoke wheels are truly magnificent; they strike a perfect balance between durability and weight management. They also feature an exclusive hub-centric C8 fitment that is compatible with any C8 suspension.
The best part of these M755 wheels is that they come in chrome! At the very least, MRR listened to the Corvette community. They brought back the chrome color that many wanted!
